Lucien Fugère on two-sided Pantophone (1905) :

n°1741 Les Saisons (Massé)
n°1826 L'Ombre, midi, minuit (4 photos)

Lucien Fugère (Paris 1848-id. 1935) was the most famous French baritone of his generation.
His light orange international Zonophones (1903) are very sought after, but his Pantophone are impossible finds.
Pantophone company was created in Paris in 1905 and survived a few months only.
A few very important operatic artists such as Jean Lassalle and Fugère accepted to record for this small company.
This record is not made of shellac but in an advanced material for 1905, looking like black celluloïd.

Such records even did not figure in the Harold Wayne or M. Richard Bebb collections.
Lucien Fugère also recorded these titles more than 25 years later for Columbia at the age of 80 and his voice was still a miracle.
I will provide the two Columbias titles with this record if sold.
